Although he didn't make it into the picture, a hummingbird decided to join me for this one and may have snuck a couple sips from the snapdragons. 🤫🤭 He didn't seem to mind me being a foot away and we were happy to share the flower goodness.

When I was a little girl, I would walk over to my grandparents' house and help them in the rose garden. There was a single purple rose bush nestled in the middle that my grandpa and I LOVED. Grandma....not so much. She still gives us a sour face (usually followed by a little giggle) whenever we talk about it.

Fast forward to this year, we knew we needed at least one purple rose bush in our current rose garden. When I came across Ebb Tide, I knew we had a winner.
